COLUMBIA, S.C. (AP) — South Carolina State has a chance to prove it is one of the best teams in the history of the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference with a win over Morgan State on Saturday.

A victory not only would give the Bulldogs at least a share of their second straight league title and a playoff berth, it would also set a record with 18 MEAC wins in a row.

South Carolina State is dominating this season. Take away the loss to Football Bowl Subdivision South Carolina, and the Bulldogs are beating teams by 21 points a game.

In other games Saturday involving the state's Football Championship Subdivision teams, Charleston Southern hosts Stoney Brook; Presbyterian is at Coastal Carolina; Furman travels to Georgia Southern; The Citadel is at Chattanooga; and Wofford hosts Samford.
