RALEIGH, N.C. (AP) -- North Carolina State has a new appreciation for winning. That's what a month without a victory will do for a football team.

The Wolfpack (4-5, 1-4 Atlantic Coast Conference) are looking for another strong November after an 0-for-October. They're 7-2 in November under coach Tom O'Brien and are coming off a 38-31 victory over Maryland -- their first win since Sept. 26 against No. 8 Pitt.

Now comes a visit from No. 24 Clemson. The Tigers have won four straight while the Wolfpack haven't beaten them at home since 2003.

For the first time in weeks, O'Brien says there aren't any new season-ending injuries to report. The Wolfpack already have lost 12 injured players for the year.
