CHARLOTTE, N.C. - The Carolina Panthers return to action Sunday afternoon when the Dallas Cowboys pay a visit to Bank of America Stadium.

The 1-4 Panthers are coming off a bye week. Carolina's dropped three straight games heading into their matchup with the Cowboys. Dallas, meanwhile, is coming off a 31-29 loss at Baltimore a week ago.

Carolina will be without cornerback Chris Gamble Sunday. Gamble is suffering from a shoulder injury. Linebacker Jon Beason is also listed as doubtful. The Panthers find themselves in a must win situation. NFL teams that begin the season 1-4 have just a 2 percent  chance of making the playoffs.

Kickoff Sunday afternoon is set for 1:00 at Bank of America Stadium.
