The most remarkable moment from today's open locker room comes from Jordan Gross. He's still in the hospital after surgery, but he still finds ways to amaze 2 days after a broken ankle ended his season.

Today, Jake told us that Gross initially told him that his injury was "bad" and then he apologized for holding up the game and letting down his teammates. Gross's injury was ghastly and graphic and yet he smiled and talked with  teammates as they loaded him up on the cart. Jake admits he will miss his friend and a man he calls "one of the great leaders, who takes ownership" of so much about his team and his position.

Gross also told Jake he wants to come to the game on Thursday. Jake told him to worry about his recovery. We'll see who wins out.

Moose also had some great things to say about his return and his 14 seasons in the NFL. "Play til the wheels fall off" is Muhammad's approach and he's clearly relishing his return to the line up after a great, 6 catch effort against Atlanta.
