CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- The Carolina Panthers have made their mark on Freedom Park.

The new Play 60 KidZone opened Tuesday evening.

It’s a one of a kind, permanent play space that features an obstacle course, 40 yard dash with automated timing device, Play60 photo booth, pep talk and more.

The Carolina Panthers Charities organization provided the $275,000 in funding, along with an initial seed from the NFL in partnership with the United Way.

Play 60 is the NFL’s campaign to encourage kids to get in at least 60 minutes per day.
