CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- The Carolina Panthers have taken on some tough competition so far this season, but nothing like the competition that some Panthers saw Tuesday.

Several players took on American Troops stationed in the Middle East in a live video game competition.

NewsChannel 36 photojournalist Dan Robbins was there to capture the excitement.

The event was organized by Pro Versus G.I. Joe, a non-profit group.  The organization also oversees Purpose Driven Rehab, a program created for wounded warriors.
