CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Caddies are an important part of a golfer's game. They provide advice, confidence and direction for each professional golfer's game.
Officials at the Wells Fargo Championship understand how important each caddie is to the tournament and the accommodations they provide to them demonstrates that.
The most popular accommodation at the caddies tent? The peanut butter and jelly station.
Tournament director Kym Hougham says several caddies make PB&Js for themselves and golfers before heading out on the course.
"It's probably the most popular thing in [the tent]," he said. "They make sandwiches and throw them in their bag for them or their player."
