CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Former Davidson basketball star Stephen Curry will return to the Charlotte area to compete in the Quail Hollow Championship Pro-Am on Monday.
Curry just finished his rookie season in the NBA with the Golden State Warriors.
Curry's father, Dell, and NASCAR driver Michael Waltrip are also scheduled to play in the Pro-Am Monday. Tee times begin at 11 a.m.
NASCAR Sprint Cup champion Jimmie Johnson and Olympic skating legend Dan Jansen will participate in the Wednesday Pro-Am. Morning tee times start at 7 a.m.
Official PGA tournament play begins Thursday at the Quail Hollow Championship and features this year's Masters champion Phil Mickelson and Tiger Woods.
