CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Race weeks just ended in Charlotte, but we’ll keep with the racing theme for just a little longer.

As local Joe Gibbs racing dirt bike guys, Justin Brayton and Josh Grant will compete in the Lucas Oil Pro Motocross series this weekend. The Tennessee National will be held about three hours away from Charlotte in Blountville, Tennessee.

The guys are pretty pumped about competing near their home turf.

Brayton says, “A lot of friends and family will come, so it’s always special to race close to home. There’s always something about racing close to home that always fires you up a little bit.”

“I’m pretty excited that it’s this close to North Carolina where the dirt is pretty similar. Hopefully we can do some good for it,” Grant said.

The Tennessee National starts Saturday.
