WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. -- A.J. Little ran for 212 yards and two touchdowns and Albemarle's defense shut down Southwest Onslow in a 45-21 victory Saturday for its fourth Class 1-AA North Carolina High School Athletic Association championship.

Rusty Parks added 101 yards and two touchdowns for the Bulldogs (16-0), who capped an undefeated season with their first 1-AA title in six years. Albemarle won three consecutive NCHSAA titles between 2001-2003.

The Bulldogs' defense held the Stallions (15-1) to just nine first downs and 161 yards total offense. They also forced five turnovers, four of which led to Albemarle touchdowns.

Simeon Marshall ran for 64 yards and one touchdown for Southwest Onslow, which was making its first appearance in a 1-AA title game after winning 2-A championships in 2000, 2003 and 2004.
