Butler's Newsome named National Coach of the Year

CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Butler High School football coach Mike Newsome has been named the National Coach of the Year by MaxPreps.
Newsome led the Bulldogs to their first state championship this year.
The team finished the year with a perfect 15-0 record and was ranked No. 8 in the nation at the end of the season.
The high school celebrated the team's success with a rally in the gymnasium Thursday.
