8 Northwestern H.S. athletes sign college scholarships

ROCK  HILL , S.C. -  Eight Northwestern High School student-athletes have signed college scholarship papers on National Signing Day.

Both Dontavious Baxter and O'Darryl Davis Douglas will play college football at DII Central Missouri. Two-time high jump state champion Julisa Tindall will head to College of Charleston.

Helena Moore is off to Anderson University to play soccer.

Kara Pennington will play soccer at Converse College.

Lauren Watts is staying close to home. She'll play soccer at Winthrop.

Kristen Clark and Taylor Lehman will remain teammates. Both will run cross country at Spartanburg Methodist.
