CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Hough High opens its doors for the first time this year and the Huskies football team is ready to take the field.
Hough pulled students from Hopewell and North Mecklenburg.
Coach Bobby Collins is looking to mold his young team correctly from the start.
"It's exciting just because the kids come out every day, focused and ready to practice," Collins said. "Our goal is just to teach a whole lot of fundamentals, make sure the guys are disciplined. I think that gives you an opportunity to play the game full-speed."
