CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Providence Day and Charlotte Christian are set to square off in the NCISAA Division 1 title game Friday night.
Providence Day is going after a second straight championship after winning in 2011 while Christian tries to win a title for the first time since 2008.
The visiting Chargers will try make up for their October 26th loss to the Knights, which Christian won 24-16.
Providence Day is used to the revenge factor though, as the Chargers just avenged a loss to Country Day in the playoffs last week.
The Bucs had beaten Providence Day the week before in the regular season finale.
Charlotte Christian comes in riding a 6-game winning streak and the Knights are unbeaten this year against teams from North Carolina.
