CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- In a game filled with back and forth action up and down the field, South Meck picked up its second win of the year, beating Providence 47-28.
The Sabres scored the game's first 14 points, but the Panthers kept it close throughout with several big plays of their own. South Meck led 26-14 at half.
Providences falls to 1-4 and 1-1 in the Southwestern 4A conference, while South Meck is now 2-4 and 1-1 in league play.
