CHARLOTTE, N.C. – The Hough Huskies rebounded from a heartbreaking loss against Lake Norman by dishing out some pain of their own Friday night.
After trailing for a good portion of the game, Miles Aldridge’s club got it together in the fourth quarter. Following a huge defensive stop on 4th down, Hough punched it into the endzone, tying the game at 17 heading to overtime.
On the second play from scrimmage in the extra session, Hough took it in for six and led 24-17. Ardrey Kell answered on their first play, but that was the end for the Knights.
A blocked extra point lifted Hough to their third win of the young season, 24-23.
