Charlotte Christian stays perfect with shootout win over N. Davidson

The Charlotte Christian Knights won a thriller over North Davidson, 52-38.

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Charlotte Christian’s undefeated season remained alive Friday as the Knights won a 52-38 thriller over visiting North Davidson.

After a Justus Woods touchdown rush, North Davidson rattled off 21 unanswered points to take a two touchdown lead. The Knights answered with a run of their own, capped by a 33-yard touchdown pass to Terrelle Brown, giving Christian 24-21 lead in the second quarter.

Christian’s defense found their groove in the second half, limiting North Davidson to just 10 points. Garrett Shrader put the game out of reach when he connected with Brown for the duo’s fourth touchdown of the game in the final quarter.
