GASTONIA, N.C. --  As they have all season long, South Point used its ground game to top previously unbeaten Hunter Huss 42-3 Friday night in our "Friday Night Frenzy" Game of the Week.

The Red Raiders used the state's best running back in Troy Leeper.  The tailback entered the game as the leading rusher in North Carolina and added to his totals Friday with a five touchdown, 225-yard performance.

South Point stays perfect at 6-0 and jumps into first place in the Big South 3A with a 2-0 league mark.

Huss, meanwhile, falls to 5-1 and 1-1 in conference play.

The Huskies, who only win three games last year, will travel to Kings Mountain in week seven.

The Red Raiders have a home date with Ashbrook next Friday.
