Howard's 3 TDs carry Northwestern to win over South Meck

Northwestern flexed some muscle Friday, handing South Meck a 38-25 loss.

ROCK HILL, S.C. – The Northwestern Trojans of Rock Hill made it look easy against South Meck Friday, dominating the first half on their way to a 38-25 victory.

Northwestern was at their best from the opening kick, racing out to a 31-0 lead before South Meck finally got on the board. Jerry Howard carried the Trojan rushing attack, rumbling for 140 yards on 13 carries with three scores.

South Meck didn’t give up, battling back to close the game with 19 unanswered points.
