CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- This year, we kick off the high school football season with Charlotte Catholic at South Mecklenburg High.
Last year, the Charlotte Catholic Cougars won the fierce rivalry game. Now, Sabres Coach James Martin is looking for his team’s practices to pay off.
"To see the kids gel, to be able to put your offensive and defensive in -- it just helps knowing that we’re ready," Martin said.
