INDIAN TRAIL, N.C. -- Porter Ridge used its legs to top A.L. Brown in a packed house at "The Boneyard" in Indian Trail.

In front of a sold out crowd that gathered to tailgate hours before the game even kicked off, Pirates quarterback Lee McNeill ran wild in a 41-13 victory.

Porter Ridge scored 13 unanswered to start the game, but an 80-yard touchdown run late in the second quarter back Wonder senior tailback Damien Washington gave A.L. Brown hope.  Washington is a UNC commit.

The second half, though, was all Porter Ridge.

The Pirates are 4-0 and head to Providence Day next Friday to face off against their star sophomore quarterback.

"I just couldn't be any prouder of our kids, of our coaches," said Pirates head coach Blair Hardin.  "Hats off to Kannapolis, a great football team."

A.L. Brown falls to 3-1 and will host Robinson in Kannapolis next Friday.  The Wonders play their next three games at home.

"They are a great team.  They have a great coach," said McNeill.  "We just played really hard and we did what our coaches told us to do."
