Hurricane Matthew forces rescheduling of high school football

CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Days ahead of Hurricane Matthew's arrival, evacuation plans and hurricane preparation is in the works across South Carolina and North Carolina's coast.

In addition to storm preps along the coast, several high school football games have been rescheduled due to the storm. On Tuesday, Union County schools made the decision to reschedule games for Thursday, and since then, a number of games involving Charlotte Mecklenburg Schools have been moved up.

A.L. Brown at Jay M. Robinson – 7 p.m.

Butler at Myers Park – 7 p.m.

Central Academy at Monroe – 7 p.m.

Sun Valley at Piedmont – 7 p.m.

Statesville Christian at Village Christian-Fayetteville – 7 p.m.

West Mecklenburg at South Mecklenburg – 7 p.m.

Anson at Weddington – 7:30 p.m.

Cuthbertson at Marvin Ridge – 7:30 p.m.

East Lincoln at Bunker Hill – 7:30 p.m.

Garinger at Porter Ridge – 7:30 p.m.

Highland Tech at Pine Lake Prep – 7:30 p.m.

Mooresville at West Iredell – 7:30 p.m.

Parkwood at West Stanly – 7:30 p.m.

South Iredell at Lake Norman – 7:30 p.m.

South Point at Ashbrook – 7:30 p.m.

Fort Mill at Clover – 7:30 p.m.

Nation Ford at Rock Hill – 7:30 p.m.

Hopewell at North Mecklenburg -- 7: p.m.

Mallard Creek at Hough -- 7 p.m.

West Charlotte at Vance -- 7 p.m.

Harding at Ardrey Kell -- 7 p.m.
