Local players make Army All-American bowl

CONCORD, N.C. -- Concord wide receiver Hamsah Nasirildeen and Crest linebacker Justin Foster have been named to the U.S. Army All-American Bowl's East squad.

The two local standouts will play in the game on Jan. 17 in San Antonio, TX.

The game will be televised nationally on NBC Charlotte.

Nasirildeen, listed by 247Sports as a safety and athlete, chose the University of South Carolina over a long list of offers including: Florida State, Alabama, Clemson, Georgia, Florida, Michiigan, NC State, Notre Dame, USC and others.

He is 6-feet-3 inches, 210 pounds, and a four-star recruit according to the site.

Foster, 6-foot-4, 250 pounds, chose Clemson over Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Auburn, LSU, Michigan, NC State, UNC, Oklahoma and many others.

He is also listed as a four-star recruit.
