LENOIR , N.C. -- Former NASCAR driver Jeremy Mayfield was indicted on four counts of felony larceny in Caldwell County on Monday.
Police say the new charges are in connection to furniture and trailers that were stolen.
Just last week, Mayfield, 42, was indicted in Catawba County on three counts of possessing property stolen from businesses.
The Catawba County Superior Court indictment states Mayfield stole more than $1,000 worth of property each from Fitz Holdings, DEA Ventures Inc. and Red Bull Racing.
He was also charged with obtaining property by false pretenses.
He was indefinitely suspended from NASCAR after failing a drug test in May 2009.
