CONCORD, N.C. (AP) -- Jeff Gordon and his Hendrick Motorsports team went from the high of racing their way into NASCAR's championship picture to the low of crashing out of the Chase opener.

He says he is not concerned that the emotional roller-coaster has drained the No. 24 team with nine races remaining in the Chase for the Sprint Cup championship.

Gordon goes into Sunday's race at New Hampshire ranked last in the 12-driver Chase field, and he's 47 points behind leader Brad Keselowski. He ran in the top give for most of the opener at Chicago, but crashed late when the throttle stuck.

Climbing back into the championship picture will be tough, but the four-time NASCAR champion believes his team is up for the challenge.
