LAKE NORMAN, N.C. -- NASCAR driver and current Sprint Cup points leader Greg Biffle made an appearance at Lake Norman Elementary School to promote dental education Tuesday.

Biffle has partnered with the American Dental Association's Give Kids A Smile program, which promotes brushing, flossing and visiting the dentist.

Biffle will also bring free dental health screenings to underprivileged school children around the country as he travels the NASCAR circuit.

"Most importantly it's to educate the kids,” Biffle said.  “The kids have the decision to make to pick up the tooth brush as well.  And, you know, that's one thing that they want to try and get kids to do, the importance of dental health and educate them on what that's about."

Biffle will also promote the oral health program by sporting a special "Give Kids A Smile" paint scheme on his car for the Richmond 400 race on April 28.
