CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Ever wonder what a NASCAR driver does during a race when he needs to goes to the bathroom?
Jimmie Johnson shed some light on that during a publicity tour across the country after winning the Daytona 500.
Johnson was in Dallas, Texas on Wednesday at the House of Blues and explained the video shown on TMZ.
"(I was in ) New York, yesterday, get out of the car to an interview, TMZ is standing there with a camera. And the man asks the question that is the most annoying one I hear all the time, which is what do you do if you have to go to the bathroom? So evidently I was on TMZ last night or this morning at some point, because just before I walked out my phone is blowing up and Dale Jr. texted me 'man you've never peed in the car before?' No, I haven't.’ He was like ‘Oh, ok.’ I said where did you see this? How did you know this? ‘Well, I watch TMZ.’"
In the video posted on TMZ.com, Johnson said, “Some guys just go. I never have. Of course I wouldn’t do that.”
