Ron Rivera feels 'disrespected' by Panthers' schedule

Carolina Panthers head coach finds his team at 0-1 heading into Week 2, and he's not happy about it. Not happy with the loss, his second consecutive to defending Super Bowl champions Denver Broncos, and not happy with the fact that the NFC Champs Panthers had to travel to Denver to open the season.

"I mean … we asked for certain things to help us out," Rivera said about the Panthers' schedule this season, which also sees the team playing back-to-back West Coast road games against Oakland and Seattle. "We didn't get any of it. I'm disappointed. Let's be honest. I've got a group of men in there that do the things that we ask the last five years, it's been a battle to get to where we are … sometimes I feel disrespected."

Rivera was also candid discussing his offseason having to relive the loss to the Broncos knowing they were the opening game, calling it a "pain in the ass."
