LONDON -- In the brightest lights of swimming, on the biggest stage in the world, SwimMAC's Micha Lawrence is both shy and determined.

So far in London, it's been a SwimMAC sweep. Three Olympians, three medals: Cullen Jones, Nick Thoman and Davis Tarwater. On Thursday night, it's Lawrence's turn to shine in the 200 meter breast stroke.

"It's very exciting. It's been one of my dreams since I was very little to go to the Olympics," she said. "And having made it is just an incredible feeling. I would just tell people, 'Oh, I want to go to the Olympics when I was 10.' And they were like, 'OK.'"

Lawrence is six feet tall and a six time All-American. She credits SwimMAC with taking her career to the next level.

"Just the community, it's been a huge thing for me," she said.

Micha said working with the children of SwimMAC has propelled her to London.

"In some small way, they've fueled my dream," she said. "And I'm fueling theirs."
