Watch Game 7 of the World Series last night? How many cups of coffee have you had today?
Most days, I have two cups. I'm on my fourth, and I'm not even in Chicago.
Point being, we're all exhausted after staying up until 1 a.m. (or later if you watched the celebration) to witness the Chicago Cubs win their first World Series in 108 years.
Well, despite Bill Murray declaring no school in Chicago for the rest of the week...

...the schools did not close. So come Thursday morning, there were A LOT of tardy slips handed out.
One Chicago parent, Gwen Ihnat, tweeted out a picture of the extensive tardy list at her child's school, and on it, all the parents were brutally honest why their child was late.
To the parent that wrote "not feeling well," good try. But we all know your kids were waving the W flag until the wee hours of the morning.
