Panthers lose Ginn, Klein to Saints

CHARLOTTE - The Carolina Panthers have reportedly lost two players to division rival New Orleans.

Ginn caught 14 touchdowns and 98 passes the last two seasons in Carolina, totaling 1,491 yards.

Ginn, who will be 32 next season, also served as the team's primary returner on kicks and punts, averaging 21.7 yards per punt return, and seven yards per punt return in 2016.

In addition, the Panthers also lose inside linebacker A.J. Klein to the Saints, also announced by the Saints.

Klein was Carolina's fifth-round draft pick in 2013 out of Iowa State.

Klein, who will be 26 next season, played in 60 games over four seasons, starting 23, and was primarily Luke Kuechly's backup.
