Like the NFL's New York Giants, the Los Angeles Kings barely made it into the NHL's postseason party, but boy did they know how to party. The 8th seed in the Western Conference dispatched the top three seeds, dropping just two games on their way to the Stanley Cup Finals, before defeating the New Jersey Devils for Lord Stanley's Cup. A league lockout could mean that the Kings will be holding onto that trophy for more than year before they have to worry about defending it.
