GASTONIA, N.C.- The Union Road Jaguars are headed south this weekend, and hoping they don't return until next weekend with a championship.
The Pop Warner football team is made up of 11 through 13 year olds, and this weekend they'll start their quest for a Super Bowl.
"We set out a goal every year like we always do. Get better every day, stay together as a team, be good teammates, be good men, and be good to the community," head coach Alan Melton said.
They won their game last weekend in Virginia Beach 19-0, now three games at ESPN's World Wide Sports Complex stand between them, and a championship.
"I'm excited to meet other kids too, and see if they've won a Super Bowl or been to Disney," running back Teddy Jefferson said.
They're locked in on winning, and they say the key is simple.
"Hard work and effort. You have to want it. Just like the coaches say, you have to want it," wingback Gabriel June said.
But getting there and paying for it is not as simple. If you'd like to help out the Union Road Jags, CLICK HERE.
