Amy began her career at CNN en Espanol. She then transferred to CNN, where she worked her way up to package producer for Wolf Blitzer Reports.
Amy is fluent in Spanish and looks forward to using her Spanish to report on the issues surrounding the growing Hispanic community in Charlotte.
When she's not working, Amy enjoys spending time with her family and family and friends, playing golf, traveling and running. She completed her second half-marathon in December 2010 in Charlotte.
