Elizabeth Thomas joined NBC Charlotte's digital team in October 2012 after spending two years at the ABC affiliate in Tyler, Texas.
There, Elizabeth was the "headmistress" of KLTV.com, where she also served on the corporate level as a member of the exclusive digital media advisory board, which acts as a steering committee and guides the company in its advances in digital media.
Although she was raised in the South, Elizabeth returned to her hometown of Minneapolis, Minnesota, for college where she majored in Business Management. But, Elizabeth's love for broadcast journalism began in high school, where she was editor and producer of her campus TV show, leading her to ultimately pursue a career in TV news.
Outside of the NBC Charlotte studios, you'll find Elizabeth hanging with friends in Charlotte's Plaza Midwood neighborhood, nursing her Starbucks addiction, rooting for the Minnesota Twins and the Dallas Cowboys, attending as many concerts as she can and teaching digital media to aspiring minds at the Charlotte campus of the Connecticut School of Broadcasting.
