Rookie Blue | ABC, 9 ET/PT
ABC's Canadian cop import ends its season with a two-hour special that finds the cops dealing with various personal problems while desperately searching for a serial bomber — a search that inevitably will put some of the officers at risk. You probably don't need to expend a lot of energy, however, on life-and-death concerns about any of the main characters: The show is already in production for its next season, which will arrive here next summer. Until then, here's hoping the finale leaves fans satisfied, and not overly cliff-hung.

Bones | Fox, 9 ET/PT
This steady performer of a Fox procedural repeats one of its better episodes, as the death of a female CIA asset raises issues about Afghan politics, American interests and the treatment of educated women — there and here. (Booth and Bones have a running argument about insurance that is surprising on many fronts.) Freddie Prinze Jr. guest stars, apparently happily — or at least he has not yet offered any Bones complaints to match those he lodged against its former Fox companion, 24.
Welcome to Sweden | NBC, 9 ET/PT
The parents meet, and clash, on this amiable summer comedy which mostly gets by on charm and scenery. Oh, and some fine casting, which includes Patrick Duffy and Illeana Douglas as Bruce's American parents, and Lena Olin and Claes Mansson as his Swedish in-laws.
