CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- A home in south Charlotte was damaged by fire on Wednesday morning.

The Charlotte Fire Department was called to a home off of Darlington Drive near McKee Road around 8:45 a.m. after smoke was seen coming from the home.

It took firefighters 22 mintues to get the fire under control. There were no reported injuries, according to fire officals.

No word yet if anyone was home during the time of the fire.
