CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Monday night, Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools will try to help students whose school is set to close this week.

Last week, administrators at StudentFirst Academy abruptly announced the school will shut down on April 11.

The state revoked the school's charter, saying it owes creditors $600,000.

CMS will hold an open house Monday and Tuesday night to help place students.

The meetings are in the StudentFirst Academy cafeteria starting at 6 p.m.
