CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- After a chilly start, temperatures will warm into the low 60s for the Charlotte region this afternoon.
However, the warm weather isn't expected to hang around too long.
For this weekend, look for much colder weather. Highs will only climb into the upper 40s Saturday. Morning lows on Sunday drop into the mid-20s.
Sunday afternoon highs will be near 50, according to the First Warn Storm Team.
Friday night will have partly cloudy skies and cold temperatures then previous nights this week. Low will fall back into the 30s.
