RALEIGH, N.C. (AP) -- The North Carolina Museum of History is offering the chance for visitors to immerse themselves in Watergate, the scandal that led to the resignation of President Nixon.

On Sunday, the museum will have a free showing of the movie All the President's Men. The 1976 movie tells the story of Washington Post reporters Bob Woodward and Carl Bernstein, who investigated the case. They are played by Robert Redford and Dustin Hoffman.

N.C. State University political science professor Andrew Taylor will lead a discussion and a question-and-answer session after the movie.

Visitors also can check out the exhibit Watergate: Political Scandal & the Presidency.

Nixon announced his resignation about 39 years ago, on Aug. 7, 1979.
