CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Stolen firearms, including one belonging to local FBI agents, were recovered while searching a Steele Creek apartment, police say.

A neighbor living in the 8400 block of Riverbirch Drive made a complaint on Tuesday.

Officers responded and say they could smell marijuana coming from the apartment. The residents reportedly refused to allow a search until investigators obtained a search warrant.

Upon a search, officers allegedly found cash, a small amount of marijuana and cocaine and five firearms. Three of the guns had been reported stolen. This included an assault rifle belonging to the FBI.

Police arrested Meshal Alsweel, 19, and Abdulaziz Algfari, 18, for possession of stolen property and narcotics offenses. Isaiah Nixon, 23, faces drug charges.
