CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Officers say a quick-thinking neighbor is to thank for catching two robbery suspects in Charlotte.

The incident happened Monday at a home in the 7800 block of Andover Woods Drive.

A witness called 911 after noticing two men break into a nearby apartment. Officers arrived and took down suspect descriptions. Police say they then found 23-year-old Decarlos Brown and 19-year-old Carl Wells nearby with the victim s stolen property.

Both men are charged with breaking and entering, larceny and conspiracy. They are now in the custody of the Mecklenburg County Sheriff s Office.
