CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- A fire broke out at a duplex in southeast Charlotte Tuesday afternoon.

The Charlotte Fire Department responded to the blaze near the intersection of Rama and Portburn Roads shortly before 4 p.m. Tuesday.

More than two dozen firemen battled the fire, before bringing it under control in just over 20 minutes.

Fire crews were able to save half of the structure, but both units were damaged.

No injuries were reported.
