MONROE, N.C. Police believe two recent DMV robberies in Monroe and Charlotte could be related.
A DMV office on East Arrowood Road in Charlotte was robbed on Oct. 8. No one was injured during the robbery.
Crystal and Robbie Jordan, who own a license plate agency in Monroe, were both shot when their Roosevelt Boulevard business was robbed on Monday, Nov. 1. Crystal Jordan is still in critical condition at CMC-Main; Robbie Jordan was treated for his injuries and released.
Charlotte-Mecklenburg police and Monroe police say the suspect description in both robberies is vague, but similar.
According to police, the suspect is described as a black male, with a medium complexion, he appeared to be in his 20 s and between 5-foot-10 and 6-feet tall. He has short black hair.
