CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Investigators have identified a second suspect in the triple-murder on Patricia Ryan Drive in February 2008.
Charlotte-Mecklenburg police say Nate Sanders is the man seen in surveillance photos that were released to the public last spring.
CMPD recently discovered that Sanders was murdered in September 2008 in Cincinnati, Ohio. No suspects have been arrested in his murder case.
Police got the information about Sanders after Cincinnati officers arrested Jason Hurd in February.
Investigators say they believe Hurd and Sanders came to Charlotte a year ago to kill Kevin Young, Kinshasa Wagstaff and Jasmine Hines.
They allegedly set Wagstaff's home on fire to destroy evidence, but police say they found something that led them to Hurd.
Police are still trying to determine how the suspect knew the victims. Investigators have not released a motive in the crime.
Police say they believe there are more suspects in the triple-murder and the case is still under investigation.
