MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (AP) -- Authorities say Myrtle Beach High School has been evacuated after a threat was found written on a bathroom wall.

Horry County schools said the threat was discovered around 9:45 a.m. Monday, and officials brought students and staff outside while police investigated.

Bomb-sniffing dogs are joining officers in checking the school.

Officials wouldn't detail what was in the threat.

Horry County schools have dealt with a number of bomb threats recently, including five in 15 days at one school last December.
