GASTONIA, N.C. -- More manhole covers have been stolen in Gastonia. Four more of them were swiped this week.

They're worth around $280.

Earlier this month, 22 of them went missing. Then, not even a week later, more were taken.

Officials say they're being turned in for money at scrap metal yards.

The City of Gastonia has replaced all of the ones that were stolen.
