CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- The Charlotte Fire Department responded to Charlotte Douglas International Airport for a rescue on Friday morning.

Just before noon Friday, authorities say an employee of an airport tenant fell from a ladder and became stranded on the rooftop of the main terminal, above the ticketing counters, at the airport.

MEDIC reports the the worker was transported to CMCMain with injuries described as potentially life threatening.
