CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- A small fire broke out in the E concourse at Charlotte Douglas International Airport Wednesday evening.

It started around 5:15 p.m.

The fire department says an electrical fire broke out on a moving walkway in the concourse. It has been contained, but people inside say smoke spread throughout the area.

No one was hurt.

The concourse was closed, but the rest of the airport was operational.
