Celebrate the holiday season and find a unique gift from a local shop and artist at the South End Gallery Crawl Friday, Dec. 3 from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m.

As always, crawls are on the first Friday of every month. Many local restaurants and clubs are close by, so make a night of it with shopping, dinner and entertainment.

  • Art Charlotte - Small Works - Featured work in the month of December is perfect for gift giving. Most of the small works can be purchased for $500 or less. Free gift wrapping with every purchase. 6-9pm
  • Dilworth Artisan Station Holiday Open House - The Artists, Designers and Galleries of Dilworth Artisan Station at 118 E. Kingston Ave invite you to join us for our Holiday Open House Friday, December 3, 6-9pm. 30% of the evening's art sales and 100% of a raffle of several works of art will benefit the Rare and Complex Cancers Fund Carolinas Medical Center.   • Elder Gallery - During the month of December Elder Gallery will host a solo exhibition of paintings by South Carolina artist Carl Blair. Carl Blair, Divine Introspection features new works on canvas and on paper. Color blindness never stood in Carl Blair s way to produce unique and vibrant paintings. His work has been shown around the world and he is considered by many to be one of the southeast s most accomplished and respected painters. Carl Blair, Divine Introspection opens with an artist reception on December 3rd and continues through December 31.
